Yeah. Pressing a team that plays that way all the time. Probably isn't going to work well.

Offense is really a struggle for this team right now. Missing a lot of easy ones.

Yeah. We have fallen in to that a few times this year. Overall Texas playing well. Missing a few open layups though. Should probably be up more.

Good game, I wish Arkansas and Texas would play more often in numerous sports.

These guys play hard. They just don't have the PG to tie it all together. Allen is a little soft to imo. He should be dominating a lot of these non con games. Dude needs to get in the weight room as well as find an attitude. Hope he's not planning to be one and done. He'd get owned in the NBA.

Shaka probably thought he'd have Taylor one more year because there was really no reason for him to leave early. The plan I bet was to put Allen and Mack, etc around him and make a run. Ovbiously Taylor's decision to leave kinda changed that and hurt the program short term. It's obvious Shaka can coach guys are improving but it's hard to "make" a point guard

Watching North Carolina, Kentucky and now Kansas play, the offensive movement is a thing of beauty. We stand around too much, don't make clean picks nor do we make crisp cuts. Our defense seems to be improving but 'havoc' is a joke.

I disagree. The "Havoc" defense has been effective when they've brought it out. It didn't really work today because we were facing a team that practices against that type of play every day. It has been effective though. As has the zone with Allen at the top. It's a little different than what you normally see but it's worked nicely. One thing I like about Shaka is he's not stuck on one defense. He will press, play half court man, and go zone. To many coaches just stick to one type.

I have watched a lot of Big 12 teams play, don't see an easy win for Texas with any of them !

I tend to agree. Allen just isn't the dominant player they need him to be right now. Plus they struggle ball handling. Their D is gonna keep them in games though.

I expected year 2 under Shaka to be tough. Especially when Taylor left.
