Name a Katy RB that has had success in D1?

They are known for their pro-I offense and big time HS RBs, but not a one has excelled at the college level as far as I am aware? This is a fair question because their success goes back to the late 90s. The RBs there are system backs that play for a great HS program, IMO. what do you think?

Who are the RBs that have gone on to major DI programs? Do they have a long track record of busts? There not being many successes from one particular school isn't necessarily a sign of anything given the size of the talent pool.

Are you actually trying to associate Kyle Porters individual success to the high school he attended? Is there some kind of Katy humanoid factory that builds football players to particular specifications that Im not aware of? Are you saying that if Kyle Porter went to North Shore or Allen ot Trinity or Westlake that he would be a different athlete?

Huh? Wtf does Katy have to do with Kyle Porter and his ability to play D1 football?

I think that the OP feels that Katy puts a ton of RBs into D1 programs and non of them have been very good because Katy's system allows plug and play RB success. Therefore he believes Porter will follow suit. I don't follow recruiting or Katy enough to know if that's true.

My question is not how many succeed at D1 level, but how many go D1 period? I feel like Katy is one of those schools that does what they do better than most and they have been running the same stuff for like 100 years so you have kids who have been running the same system their entire life, that they can accomplish the next man up mentality without a drop off. Also helps when you have a ton of kids to chose from.

Well Katy ISD has about 7 high schools, so unless someone transfers in, which does happen Im sure, they can only take the kids that are zoned to their high school. But youre right, these kids are coached up from 7th grade how to play the system. Makes it a whole lot easier for the HS coaches.
