Are there any education lawyers willing to talk to me and give advice. My son is battling anxiety and depression, has a 504, but the school is trying to expel him for absences. His counselor and PCP have written notes that the absences were caused by the depression but at the MDR yesterday they voted the absences weren't caused by the depression. They voted without hearing any evidence. He has no other discipline issues. I have requested a due process hearing but they have not responded. Thanks in advance
