if DP hires a pitching coach then I’ll hop back on board. Don’t think he will. And much like Mack thru Tom, hiring your buddy is the downfall.

After Augie was let go my first two choices were O'Sullivan and Schlossnagle. Pierce has been a solid hire. Texas could have done worse. Don't get me wrong, I love Augie, but the last several years were tough to watch the decline of baseball at Texas. Pierce has definitely improved the program compared to where it was at when he inherited it. We all want better though.
That Hodo metal error on the slide, although he was still safe, cost us at least one run, probably more. So frustrating.

Pierce should of had that reviewed. That was a blunder on his part
Pitching coach Sean Allen, should be fired immediately after the game! Texas should make a phone call and hire Frank Anderson back from Tennessee.
We didn't think we would host and get kicked out early. But we also knew with this damn bullpen we wouldn't make it to Omaha.
Whew! Live for another day. The bats saved the inept pitching.
