You know, I didn’t play college football but I played all sports in high school. I hated having teammates with your attitude. If you aren’t all in for us, then just quit and go play for someone else.
Biggest issue was play calling on both sides of the ball. D just couldn't figure out the speed of the offensive play calling and offense got started late! I don't see us losing anymore games BUT if we see OU again man we better have our shit together!
This. When the 1st play of the game, you run the SAME PLAY you want the week prior. Then on the 2nd play, OU linebackers are going nuts because they recognize your empty set formation and know exactly what you're about to do---- and then EASILY pick you off...... it's time to change your play calling.
So much had to go wrong for us to barely lose that game, which is both kinda comforting and very infuriating. Gotta get right and run the table, we’re still better than anyone left on the schedule. ou is a really good team but we can clearly beat them if we just don’t **** ourselves the way we did today. Play calling on both sides deserves some criticism, but defense especially was just baffling. Our D line is great but we can’t expect them to win the game without any help, i.e. can we please scheme some more blitzes or otherwise try to confuse opposing QBs more?
I think we'll be alright. 1 coaching has got to do better in the 1st and 2nd quarters! This wait until the 4 to get things going isn't going to work. Mistakes were made but 2 of the TOs was just a great hit. The 1st was a bone head throw and you can't do that with elite players on the opposite side. If we lose anymore B12 regular season games I'd be shocked.

That goal line stand Oklahoma made that was straight out of a Tom Herman playbook and it would have destroyed our poise, our morale. But instead we righted the ship and regained the lead.

I don’t see Texas running the table. Other than blind faith, what in Sarks career would lead you to believe we will win 11 games?
The irony is that everyone has him going to the NFL NEXT YEAR as a first rounder. As an unproven sophomore, he hasn’t done enough IMO to deserve going in ANY round. He needs another year. Hopefully we don’t lose two excellent backups if he does come back. Colt McCoy, as do most players, became a better quarterback with more than two seasons under his belt.
The NBA takes kids right out of high school… the NFL isn’t the NBA.

Well at Washington he inherited a 0/12 team and in 5 years he won 9 games and left a lot of talent in place for Chris Peterson to take Washington to the playoffs 3 years later. This is a different culture @weevilcatch. Look at the remaining schedule Houston? BYU and those other teams can't beat us. We're all disappointed but we're still the better team.
