Ok bell, it may be time to stop. Remember this is a horns board and know your audience. You won, congrats. Stop there.Venables just getting started, you need to keep that in mind, that should cause major angst. Venables already outrecruiting the old regime and its starting to show.
Ok so by them being overrated and Texas beating them at home by 10 and you guys beating Texas you're taking away from your win today. OU played and out coached a team that out coached one of the best to do it ever. Alabama is currently beating aggy at home with that same QB. Are they better than last years team no but are they horrible? Hell no.Bama's best rb is pulling double duty as their Qb1, he's not goodlike their last couple qb's
I don’t look at his career to determine if we’re winning the rest of our games. I see our schedule and our players on both sides of the ball and I don’t see us losing another game. If we do lose another game, I won’t be convinced it’s because our coaches don’t put our guys in position to win. Sark’s play calling today was not his finest game but remember that OU is a good team and we still put up 550 yards of offense. That’s with 3 turnovers, which means we were on our way to another 600 yards of offfense. The problem today was defense not getting stops when it mattered. Especially on the final drive. Inexcusable to play prevent defense at that time of the game. That’s not on Sark as much as it is PK .I’m all in as a fan, but I’m not involved in any team activities.
I don’t see Texas running the table. Other than blind faith, what in Sarks career would lead you to believe we will win 11 games?
Well Alabama is ahead 31/17 with 8 minutes to go. In fact they just blocked a fg and ran it back for a td. The cow college is hanging in there but there's no question who has the better qb.LOL, BAMA is overrated but that win gave your team and fans a false sense of security, you're not a top 10 team neither is Bama
Same goes for you. Hey I know you're disappointed we all are but everything's going to be alright. So you’re saying he had 4 false starts? That’s what you’re going with? Pretty sure Majors had penalties last week. I’ll double check.
I know the responsibilities of a C. This isn’t profound info Cali. What specific scheme or assignment did CR not get right?
The offense got better when Majors left. Period.
What sack was the fault of the backup C.
You better not give me more bullshit because I’ll watch film and come back. Don’t just say shit without knowing wtf you’re talking about.
They're not horrible but not traditional top 10 bama either.BTW, the first QB taken off the board this year is Caleb Williams, then Tennessee QB, then a healthyRising, Ewers is not thereunless he goes nuts the rest of the yearOk so by them being overrated and Texas beating them at home by 10 and you guys beating Texas you're taking away from your win today. @Oldmanastro, I stated my opinion on Venables from the get go when he was hired and thru 6-7 last year, just pointing out sometimes I'm right and you have to admit, on paper OU shouldnt have won todayOk bell, it may be time to stop. Bell, you’re crazy if you think Ventilators is taking OU to the promised land. I’m not sure OU wins the rest of their Big 12 games. They’re better than last year no question but they don’t scare anyone who is in playoff contention. I know our guys are going to be amped up to get another shot at them. Still a ton of football left to be played my friend. Don’t get too excited about your little team just yet. You’re acting and trolling like a socialist democrat does when they shyt talk about our country. Time to cool it. Be very careful.@Oldmanastro, I stated my opinion on Venables from the get go when he was hired and thru 6-7 last year, just pointing out sometimes I'm right and you have to admit, on paper OU shouldnt have won today
It doesn’t help that we have a QB who continuously throws into triple coverage.
Comments like this are always fun. Walker dropped a TD pass from DG. Kicker missed a FG. Punter had a shank and a blocked kick. Both teams missed some opportunities. We missed so many opportunities. Thompson dropped an easy INT, we can’t score on 4th and 1, miscommunication on final TD,, penalties….
We clean that up and we win by 2-3 scores.
I saw a breakdown of Ewers a couple of days ago, and the analysis showed that his QB rating is astronomical against quarters coverage, but just average against Cover 1, Cover 2 and Cover 3. Almost all of his big plays have come against quarters coverage. OU only plays quarters coverage 19% of the time.
What teams are in playoff contention in your opinion? LOL I bet we will disagreeBell, you’re crazy if you think Ventilators is taking OU to the promised land. This board shits all over him every game, go look at the last 3game threads before this one. Why you acting like this is some sort of revelation? Is he supposed to win a Matty every game or what?
He went 31/36 for 346 in this game. What the ****? Lol

That’s my point asswipe. If both teams play mistake free football UT wins going away. By the way, where has your sorry ass been? Very first post I assume. Posts like yours are fun too. You were nowhere to be found until the game is over. Never saw you after last year’s game either. Enjoy this one for a short while. It might get ugly for you guys in December, if you even get that far.Comments like this are always fun. Walker dropped a TD pass from DG. Kicker missed a FG. Punter had a shank and a blocked kick. But the rest of their schedules are tougher than what either UT or OU will face in the six week after next Saturday off. Other than Georgia hard to see any of the rest unbeaten the Big 10 and Pac 12 unbeatens all play each other.Georgia. FSU. Ohio St. Michigan. Etc.
I’m thinking none of them are shaking in their boots of either Texas or OU
Is reading difficult for you? this should clarify anydoubt you may have about fans crapping on your QB every game :It's not new (in Creepy Joe Biden whisper)Bell, I don’t speak methlahoma
Bullshit. We gained over 550 yards of offense against whatever coverage they put out there. OU’s defense wasn’t the issue for us today. Ewers was 31/36 for 378. Yeah that’s right..their “Quarters” coverage sure worked well. By the way, quarters coverage is just a fancy term used for zone coverage with a 2 deep safety. It’s nothing new or visionary. Stop with the pretend coach speak.I saw a breakdown of Ewers a couple of days ago, and the analysis showed that his QB rating is astronomical against quarters coverage, but just average against Cover 1, Cover 2 and Cover 3. I had this game as a preseason upset. The cow college hung tough but there's no question who has the better qb.That over rated Bama team just physically piunded the sh!t out of aggy.

The Big X has 3 teams but the rest is just plain lousy. It's not a conference per se but the Big X west is the weakest conference in the country. They'll benefit when those new schools join next year. But the rest of their schedules are tougher than what either UT or OU will face in the six week after next Saturday off. Go Fvck yourself. We’re going to mark this thread come December and see how much of a man or a pussy you are. I won’t be surprised if OU loses 1-2 games left on their schedule. Enjoy the win but don’t get too excited about your team pulling out a close one while giving up nearly 600 yards of offense. There’s a shyt ton of holes on that D.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No sir. If both teams played mistake free football OU loses. It doesn’t matter though.
Wrong again. It’s not that simple. The way we were moving the ball a turnover is a missed opportunity for us to keep moving downfield for a likely score. The points off turnovers are irrelevant since OU was unable to cash in. You also have to remember we dropped a sure INT in the end zone which resulted in 3 points. Plus we had a ton of penalties. Mistake free football involves all aspects of the game not just turnovers. No sir. Texas had three turnovers. OU scored a total of 7 points off those turnovers. OU’s special teams breakdowns resulted in 10 points for Texas.
Knucklehead--- I said EVEN if you leave the points on the board that OU scored off turnovers---- without those turnovers- Texas score at least another 13.No sir. Texas had three turnovers. OU scored a total of 7 points off those turnovers. OU’s special teams breakdowns resulted in 10 points for Texas.

Dude, just let it go already. You guys won TODAY. It doesn't necessarily make you the better team at the end of the season. Let the season play out and we'll see how you look.I think you are making some faulty assumptions, like assuming that Texas would have moved the ball 83 yards and scored if Ewers hadn't thrown the first interception. Second, turnovers aren't necessarily a product of a poor play by Texas. For instance, Ewers fumble was caused by a vicious hit that jarred the ball loose by the true freshman safety Peyton Bowen.
Another thing, OU was the more physical team today. I can guarantee you that goal line stand would have NEVER occurred if Riley/Grinch were still there at OU. Texas would have probably put up in the neighborhood of 60 points against them today.
I guarantee we don't play that poorly the next time we meet in December.
