Watching Ewers (watched the offensive replay twice more) I have noticed something--
When Q is pressured and gets mobile, receivers start breaking off their routes and coming BACK too him. I don't think I've see a WR turn it up and go down field for a deep threat.
If I'm Iowa st-- I wonder if I disguise the blitz and then roll my secondary up to jump the break-off routes. Maybe I get lucky and force some coverage sacks or get Q to try and squeeze some throw into tight spots.
If I'm iowa st, I damn sure don't want him standing flat footed on the pocket and just picking me apart.

I bet we are going to see a ton of 3 and 4 man rushes today. I see Iowa State dropping 7 to 8 in coverage all day and make Quinn be patient and dink and dunk down the field. He made OU pay everytime last weekend when they blitzed.
We have to run the ball well today. If they’re going with 3 and 4 man fronts we have to force a lot of Bijan today.
