Yep, and neither of those games mattered because texas was 5-7 and texas didnt matter. Just imagine if that victory over OU actually meant something. Imagine if tx was in a position for losing to iowa state meaning something.

Regardless of what happens in January, OU is absolutely in the NC conversation now. And that's the whole point. One day your team will be in the same conversation and wont be relegated to trying to play spoiler. But no, it's not like that every offseason. It absolutely wasnt the case last off season. My team came off a horrible 8-5 year and i had tempered expectations. This year they went 11-2 and return most of their best players, OU is very clearly in very strong position for a run. Well, yeah, but, so what? What difference did it make? Didnt wake your team up and show them that they can win. Didnt put OU into a depression and give up on the season. I will wager on the winner of the game, I dont care about the line or margin of victory. If you are confident your team will win, it should be no issue to wager on whichever team wins the victory.

But it's a rivalry game and I never feel confident in winning by any margin over 1. So unless you have the stones to bet straight up, not happening with me at least.
