Applying today's morals to what people did and said 70 years ago is ridiculous, Bing Crosby has some lyrics that were indeed very questionable by today's standards, so it won't be long before movies like Holiday Inn will never be shown again.

I'm surprised Disney hasn't separated itself from Walt Disney after all he made Song of the South.

I’ve seen recently where they’re doing a reboot of “All in the Family” with Woody Harrelson playing the part of Archie. I can just imagine how this will work out once the PC police get done with it.

I think you and I are saying the same thing, I made not have been clear. There’s only one Archie Bunker. Their PC version with Woody Harrelson will be nothing like the original imo.

The fact that hollywood would chose Woody Harrilson to play Archie Bunker is just sad.

Woody is one of the most liberal actors in Hollywood. I went to a middle school named after a judge who was assassinated by Woody's father. Woody's father was paid by the mob to kill Judge John H Wood because Wood was tough on crime. Woody has been an outspoken liberal. No way can he pull off being an outspoken conservative.

Sam Elliott is a great outspoken conservative, but not woody Harrilson.

I am with the sentiment regarding PC. But some of those lyrics from her early songs are, to put in mildly, REALLY politically incorrect. I don't know if there is explanation re: context, but this is one where I would pass on the fight.
