Driving down the street today, pulled up behind a brand new Lexus sedan, still had the 2024 dealer "plate." Right up above that was the placard that said "Student Driver."
Seriously? Now, @Armadillo Slim took Drivers Ed when you had to learn to parallel park your dinosaur. Mine wasn't much better---a '61 Chevy station wagon with no A/C. It had what we olds used to call "460 A/C." Drive down the road with all 4 windows down, going 60 mph. Standard transmission, three on the tree, and no power steering, but a steering wheel about the diameter of the rear tire on a John Deere.
