Congrats to OU on embarrassing the conf yet again. I don't know why you are surprised. We told you that you'd lose this game.

Oh and Baker Mayfield is what we thought he was. My exact words before the season were "he is a great fit for the OU system and will put up stats and will lose in big games". Well 0 for 2 in RRS and bowl game.

Making fun of Ou getting beat by a better team is somewhat like a couch potato making fun of a fat guy riding a bike. At least the chubby kid was peddling.
Think of it another way, something like 84 teams played in bowl games. You guys are in an exclusive club. Put that on your trophy wall without an asterisk. :)

I'm not making fun of a damn thing. I'm pissed that the wrong teams keep getting put in these games. You didn't belong. Nothing funny about it.

Not that it would have made any difference in the outcome, but I was a bit surprised to see OU fans turn out for the game about as pathetically as Miami fans. First-ever CFP game for both teams, but the Orange Bowl was 75-80% Clemson orange and purple.

Many fans opted for Arizona betting on a win.

...or maybe they were skeptical and didn't want to spend their hard earned money traveling to see yet another Stoops bowl flop.

I probably shouldn't have been surprised. OU fans are usually pretty heavily outnumbered in bowl games. I just figured the CFP might prompt a break with the tradition of weak fan support.

Bring Back Royal, Ou fans have been to the Orange Bowl more than any fan base . Maybe the new has worn off.

Didn't support your team this year. Like I said, you $ooners probably knew a loss was coming and didn't want to spend your money watching Bob fail again.

OU overachieved this year darlin'. With all of the changes and new personnel on offense this year I never heard one OU fan use that as an excuse for a loss. Here your team is in its second year under Strong using that very excuse and as a matter of fact your fan base has been screaming "we're young" in place of "we're Texas" since 2009. Mayfield, a freaking walk on, finished the season a top 5 Heisman candidate. You didn't tell anyone anything. You hid under your bed for the whole season and now come out to gloat. You are an absolute coward full of I told you so's after the fact.

Clemson had a better team. Big freaking deal. I have no problem admitting that. Again, no excuses out of this fanbase. Your little buddy proved his cowardice on a weekly basis right here on this very board. He's too scared all season to post prediction but he can sure as hell show up after the season with the "I told you so's" coward

I speak for myself. I never predicted a Natty. I was simply responding jsto's bs. Clemson was the better team.

I'm not going all crazy on Stoops either and I have in the past. I think he did a pretty good job this year. Watching the Orange Bowl, you could tell it was an issue of the Jimmy's vs the Joe's ranther than x's vsO's imo.

To fizzle: Then go away, obsessed old man. You don't get to dictate the topics here just like your dumbass PR dept doesn't get to tell the national press not to ask your RB about his violence against women. You're not in charge.

You're just mad old bowl flop Bob is still tied with Les Miles and Mack Brown where it counts. And Lloyd Carr, Larry Coker, LaVell Edwards... Heck even Howard Smellsofbourbon. :D

If you say so. Stoops has had a LOT of chances to get that 2nd title but apparently it's never his fault.

Oh hell I've dished out my fair share of grief on Stoops and never given him a free ride. Yesterday I just think Clemson had more talent. Not sure if that's bad player development/recruiting on OU's part or the fact that Clemson just has recruited better athletes but it sure appeared to me that Clemson had more talent than OU

Chicken or the egg I guess as far as coaching and talented players. My point is that ou didn't belong there and only snuck in because the QBs at TCU and Baylor were out when you played them.

Yes. You're all frustrated and have to resort to name calling because Stoops can't get it done. I know, fizz.

Let's see, if memory serves me, we were pre-season fourth in Big-12 and 19th nationally.

I'll take the Cfb playoff's as a pretty good year. Scholz, how did you guys do?

Indeed, that was a hell of a coaching job by Bob to face BU, TCU, and OSU without Russell, Boykin, and Rudolph.

I agree it was the luck of the draw. You play what you are given. I could whine and say we would have at least three more Nattys without injuries to Josh, Jason and Sammy but that wouldn't change anything. It's silly.

I Am not frustrated with OU at all. It's just your Aggish butt hurt that is so tacky.
Yes, that's why you're on the Longhorn site crying like a little baby girl because Longhorns are talking about yet another Stoops postseason flop. Because you're cool with it. Lulz :D
