ou vs Clemson

OU overachieved this year darlin'. With all of the changes and new personnel on offense this year I never heard one OU fan use that as an excuse for a loss. Here your team is in its second year under Strong using that very excuse and as a matter of fact your fan base has been screaming "we're young" in place of "we're Texas" since 2009. Mayfield, a freaking walk on, finished the season a top 5 Heisman candidate. You didn't tell anyone anything. You hid under your bed for the whole season and now come out to gloat. You are an absolute coward full of I told you so's after the fact.

What is wrong with you?

Why do you have to change the subject and make up things to argue about?

I have from day one said exactly what happened. That Mayfield fits the system. Will put up stats. And will lose the big games. Said it when he xferred. Said it early in the year, during the year, and now. And I was right. That is why I am gloating.

In this thread I was not talking about overachieving or excuses for losses or Charlie Strong. Deflect much? Followed by baseless personal attacks?

Please tell me where I was wrong with my prediction of Mayfield that I have never wavered on and please don't go on some pointless rant about nothing or start with name calling. Or you can just simply admit that I was right and you were wrong. Because its just true.

I don't believe you and neither does anyone else. Did you also predict Mayfield would finish top 5 Heisman? Suck it.

I saw him post that stuff about headband boy. So you're wrong, bell.

What nobody predicted was you guys lucking into playing all the good squads without their starting QBs.

Is that right? You saw him post what about Mayfield? I would think he should be able to produce some quotes from before the season then right?

What he said. You know very well posts that old aren't archived. But he said it.

You saw it too. Just a few weeks ago you were asking me to join in threads and bringing up "still feel the same about Mayfield now jsto" and I said YES?

And just a few days ago you alluded to it here:
Belldozer1 replied to the thread Sorry but this ESPN media day for bowl playoff players is hard to watch.
Are you still sporting the Mayfield wig or have you moved on to the Dabo coiffe? Just asking

So you have no preseason quotes from you huh? About what I thought you are full of crap. BTW, Mayfield finished top 5 Heisman. You look dumb.

Hey belldozer the new page has quite the handy search feature. Here is just some of what I came up with. You can have fun clicking any of the following threads and see how you trolled me repeatedly on this very subject....of which I never waivered. You really need to get your memory checked or just stop lying.

  1. OKC paper reporting Mayfield will be the QB
...Okies??? Below is a blurb: Oklahoma redshirt sophomore QB Baker Mayfield is dealing with shoulder fatigue, according to beat writer Ryan Aber....

Yeah so UT not having a QB and OU not having a QB because Mayfield sucks.....I am allowed to think both things. They are not mutually exclusive....

So Mayfield finishes Top 5 Heisman. You and your argument still look dumb. Are you really that dense to be making your argument about a guy voted top 5 in the Heisman? Really are you that dumb or hard headed?

You know what else is fun. In a thread where I stated that Mayfield will put up stats, but lose big games....you predicted the following:
Belldozer "I still think Knight will be the starter. No necessarily saying that's a great thing but that is my prediction."

So who is being true to their stance all along on Mayfield and who is jumped on a Mayfield bandwagon only to then go all revisionist history buff here now that someone was right about little game Baker?

Hey look....a squirrel.

My stance has always been that Baker fits the system, can put up some stats, and that he will fold and lose big games. Because that's who he is. Someone who runs from competition for a starting job at TT. And just can't handle the big pressure.

But by all means, talk about how he almost won the Heisman. Because 1) he didn't and 2)you don't want to admit he does indeed fold in big games....just like I said. Nice stats though, also just like I said. Hell I detailed how in stats at TT how he tossed out big stats in soft games and lost vs Texas and others in big games. I broke it down game by game. Your responses in that thread are hilarious to read too. Its all still there.

Hey look.......you are searching for a squirrel right now.

Hey in the same thread you said Hansen was the best of the bunch. How did that work out for you? I see nothing from you from before the season started? And the argument here isn't that I predicted Anything before the season about Mayfield I am simple debunking the myth/lie that you keep perpetuating that you called on Mayfield. Keep telling how bad Mayfield is after the guy got voted top 5 in the Heisman. Your argument is really comical.

Haha yeah jsto you look pretty foolish. Nothing new for you though. You also said Mayfield wouldn't win a big game this year. Baylor, OSU, TCU? haha yeah you really nailed that prediction too. Good grief stop while you are behind. The guy achieved much more than anyone expected and you are a sour grapes bystander throwing crap on a wall and praying something stuck. You are still going with the Mayfield sucks mantra all the while he finished the year No. 4 in Heisman voting. That's rich right there son.

He did nail that prediction. Those stopped being "big games" the moment each team's starting QB miraculously became unavailable to play OU. At that point, with the most important part of each team neutralized thanks to nothing that your team did, they became merely "important" games -- just like every other game on the schedule.

I was hoping for a devastating knee injury, but that was still nice to see.

The OU board's reaction to the mention of karmic retribution for that piece of filth was pretty funny: https://oklahoma.forums.rivals.com/...ead-playoff-game-1-ou-vs-clemson.42137/page-4

Also comforting to see that ref-blaming jobea01 is still the biggest bitch in the history of the internet.

You are splitting hairs here. It was imperative for OU to win those games to go to the playoffs. Regardless, Mayfield played very well in those games. He even sat out the 2nd half of the TCU game. JSTO struck out on all of his predictions on Mayfield and even got caught bs'ing on the timing of his predictions. Plus he thought Hansen was the best of the bunch preseason. Fantastic.

You speak for the fanbase. Not at all but have you seen that excuse being thrown around by the OU fan base? Again Mayfield is a walk-on, new OC, new receivers, exceeded all expectations of EVERYONE in the nation, won big games down the stretch, finished Top 5 in the Heisman. The bitterness and butthurt at being so utterly wrong by some posters in their prediction about him is downright comical.

Or yourself?
IIRC Scholz was asking about a specific poster?

Don't need to say, that you don't have to be here if we are too aggsy for you.

Excellent find, especially since I am seeing madcow12's quote and gif for the first time, never bothering to appeal my ban from the scoop several years ago. The retribution part has only grown over time and jobea's part in it just magnifies it even more, not to mention Stoops' arrogance to associate with felonious character repeatedly.

Even Soonerdave admired Scholtz's implication of Stoops' interest in the next criminal.
