Who is the best movie or TV serial killer of all time? Solo killer. Note this is limited to human serial killers from Earth. Chuckie is a doll. Predator is an alien. Thanos is not from Earth. No monsters, zombies, vampires, demons, ghosts, aliens, demi-gods, werewolves, or other non-humans are eligible. Must be fully human, I am giving Freddie Krueger a pass as was at least once fully human and returned. Only movie or TV characters are eligible, not real people, so no Jeffrey Dahmers, BTK, Son of Sam, John Wayne Gacey, Ted Bundy, Henry Lucas, etc. Monster with Charlize Theron gets bounced for this reason too. Some movies like Scream have good killers, but the character is unnamed. Some are a collective group of killers like the Gein family in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I am looking for a solo serial killer. Arsenic and Old Lace is multiple killers too. Also, I didn't list Norman Bates of Psycho, as he may not have been seeking to kill, more thrust upon him. Night of the Hunter is really scary, but I don't know how many people the Robert Mitchum character even killed. I love The Honeymoon Killers, but that isn't very well known. I Saw the Devil is a South Korean masterpiece, but more a revenge movie.
