Sources: Ohio State QB Quinn Ewers to enter transfer portal
Ewers is expected to consider Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech for his next school, sources told Yahoo Sports.

His reason for not being here? Tom Herman.
Ewers grew up being a Longhorn fan and wanted to come, even committed at one point. Herman fvcked it up supposedly talking sh!t about the kid.

According to Pete Themel he’s going to attempt to bring some 2022 kids with him where ever he ends up.
The thing Texas can offer him is the best RB in the country and one of if not the best WR in the country

It will be interesting. Texas SEEMS like the logical choice. I know Georgia and Ole Miss are still in the mix but I figure now he wants to come back to the Lone Star State. I know A&M makes the list but I can’t see A&M really being in it with the guys they have committed. Not saying I wouldn’t like him but I don’t think they push with being loyal to who they have. Texas has OLine issues and team issues but I hear it was his childhood dream to play for Texas. Stands to reason there would be receivers that would want to follow. It would be a good get. Texas needs some kind of momentum.
Yeah I mean he’s leaving Ohio state because with Stroud in place there isn’t an opening to play. So logic says he’s going somewhere that has an opening to play. Texas fits that bill, Ole miss would fit that bill a few others
Ewers was going to be third string next season. Day had told him he is not close to being ready to play college ball. He was never going to see any NIL cash. I guess he enjoyed his lease car for a season. Best of luck to him, maybe he will find a school that will guarantee him to start. Personally I am glad to see him leave. We already have his replacement.

Totally agree. Might be a potentially good pick up, but I believe he has character issues and could be unwilling to face a roster challenge and potentially cave again (Tate Martell). Stay with Klubnik. This team needs players that are committed to THE TEAM.
He’s worth the risk IMO. We desperately need our next Colt Mcoy or VY. I haven’t heard anything but good things about his character. Just because he wanted to graduate early and move on doesn’t make him a bad person.

That would be the one reason he would go to a place like Tech where he would be unquestionably the guy.

A&M is out. They have said they are sticking with Connor Weigman. Texas and Tech I guess. I know Georgia and Ole Miss are trying to sneak in. Ole Miss is interesting.
Bridgeland got knocked out of the playoffs today by Tomball 48-13.
Sounds like he might be going to Tech. If he ends up going there though it just shows he’s not serious about playing big time college football.

Eh he burned the bridge with Herman. Doubt Sark cares what happened before. If he goes to Tech it’s because he wants no competition and no expectation. He certainly ain’t getting “help” to go with him. Kids are t going to flock to Lubbock, Texas because he’s there.
