I was thinking about what would happen if RBG had to retire 6 months before the election, largely because I finally had time to see extended coverage of the testimony of Noah Feldman, Michael Gerhardt and especially Pamela Karland. My conclusion is this: if RBG retires 48 hours before Trump has to leave office, quickly convene the Senate and push someone through. Beside being bat sh*t crazy, these people are arrogant, condescending and superior. They will never vote anything other than how they feel, constitution be damned.
