As we've been reporting for a while, Houston defensive coordinator Todd Orlando is headed to Austin to be the new Texas defensive coordinator, but Joseph Duarte is reporting that terms are now in place.

If the terms are correct, Orlando becomes the highest paid coordinator in the Big 12 and one of only two non-SEC coordinators to make at least a million dollars per year.

For the record, I contacted a very high level Texas official and was told that the reported terms represented news to him.
