Seriously. Not for my sake or the sake of the Republicans, but for his own sake. We know he is essentially a political hack who contributes nothing but bloviating narrative, But his current ramblings are starting to reek of total desperation and fear and that has got to be noticeable to all but the most committed Dem sycophants. He needs to project a little more confidence in his party's position. His pleading and begging have got to be unsettling to a lot of the base. Begging "please stop taking my lunch money" usually doesn't work.
