It does seem you guys are rooting for OU because they are from your conference with 2 losses, yet have dominated it again. This is the same stuff you accuse us of with Alabama, except for the fact that Bama either wins it all or are playing for the championship. It's just a bit strange that's all.

No matter what a qb good enough to be a Heisman finalist does not 3 interceptions in 1 quarter.
And after OK was up 17/0 FL made a strong run. OK had something like 5 plays in 7 minutes. And FL forced what was it 2 or was it 3 to's? After the last one it was 17/10. I think they got into the red zone. But they had to settle for a fg. After all that domination they couldn't tie it up. And after that OK took over and the rout was on.

No that is not the case. This is really kind of simple: this was a no lose situation for Texas fans. If OU lost...well then OU lost. If OU won...well then an SEC team lost (i.e. not glad OU won). When OU t bags said SEC team Texas fans were very happy; again because an SEC team was t bagged, not because OU won.
14 total players and 9 starters out hurt for sure but I honestly don’t think Florida would have won anyway. I think it would have been a lot closer and mentally Florida would have been in a better place but OU was firing on all cylinders. Also hated Mullen saying his scout team played pretty well. Cheap way out. It mattered for sure but come on. As far as Florida’s defense they did have 4 starters out but their defense has sucked all year. They are not the old Gators where defense was first. SEC for sure had a more down year than normal.
Interesting. I felt similarly last year when you guys played LSU. I didn't really enjoy a good game because I wanted both to get beat.
But when OU played LSU in the playoffs I was pulling for OU 100% because I hate LSU and really don't care about OU other than as a recruiting rival.
The last time I rooted for Texas was in the BCS championship game vs USC. A&M was so pitiful that I was glad any Texas team won, for about 10 minutes. I figured out no matter how bad my team is, never pull for the enemy.

Watching the Cincy game and have been impressed with what I have seen. Playing very physical on both sides of the ball. Of course I am not accounting for Georgia not really wanting to play because it's not a playoff game, or too many opt outs, or too many injuries, or whatever excuse another SEC school uses when they get bent over on national tv.
If georgia comes back that will be impressive. Cincy has been much more physically invested in this game.

I seem to remember last year that quite a few aggies were happy for OU to get blown out by LSU last year. Something about how the big 12 was horrible and a big dumpster fire, SEC, SEC, blah blah blah...
I don't hate the state of OK I don't even hate OK fb. I hate losing to them in fb. But I will never vocally cheer for them but I am happy to see any Big XII team put a beat down on an SEC team in a NY6 bowl game.

That's because even in the SEC Texas is the only team you care about. I'm not a Cincinnati fan but man I was hoping they held on so we could hear how Georgia just wasn't interested lol
