Seriously... What are the Cowboys doing in the draft?

Fu**ing Jones's. Ridgeway was available and they took Tapper. Good for the Colts. They got a good player and value for a 4th round pick.
Just like he passed up Tony Brackens for Kavika freaking Pittman years ago. That arkie Jerry Jones is a Longhorn hater. He's only drafted two Longhorns (Swaim - 7th round and McGarity - 4th round) in almost 30 years of owning the Cowboys. Even if you throw in overpaying for Roy Williams, his bias is obvious.

Why I gave up being a Cowboys fan in 2009 when Jones was openly pulling for Bama against UT in the national title game. Couldn't reconcile being a fan of both any longer.

So basically for EE to have the impact cowboy fans expect, He is literally going to have to be Tony Dorsett 2.0 and Dallas is going to have to have a season like 1977.

Pretty much. Barring injury EE will have a great year for Dallas, but in order for that added value to become worth the #4 pick he's pretty much going to need to lead the league in rushing the next few years. Rushing for 1200 yards isn't going to cut it because they can get that from anyone.

I heard one of the local commentators say the Cowboys were 4th in the league last year in rushing. Didn't realize they were that high. So, I agree that he will have to improve that standing by a fair amount.

Why would there be a high price contract? I hope Bradford doesn't think he still deserves to be a starter in this league. He's a bust, and I think he'll accept a backup role at this point.

Bradford singed a 2 year 35 million dollar deal with 22 million guaranteed. He is penciled in to be the starter next year.
