Sharlene Hawkes...Jane Slater

Ok weird topic here, but does anybody remember Sharlene Hawkes from that old ESPN Scholastic Sports America show? I find it spooky how much Jane Slater of LHN sounds like her. I mean exactly like her. Here's an old video from when Hawkes was in Cuero for a story on Robert Strait. Every time I hear Slater on LHN it reminds me of Hawkes in this video.

You are right. They sound exactly alike. This subject hits home with me. For some reason my wife always comments about Jane Slater's voice. She doesn't like it. I had never thought about it until she mentioned it and then I started liking her voice even more. I like Slater. She's attractive and knows her Texas sports.
