Tommy Kramer is from San Antonio. He was an AA and played in the NFL for the Vikings. Me and my brothers were students at Lee high school when he led our school to the state championship. Perhaps the best player to come out of San Antonio.

Last week he posted on Twitter that he is in the beginning stages of dementia. All those concussions.

So very sad.

When I look at the other Texas cities greater Houston, the Metroplex, the Austin area, there always seems to be a treasure trove of talent. San Antonio not so much. Tommy Nobis, Tommy Kramer, but not many. I just wish it wasn't that way.

So, the secret ingredient in SA is obviously to name your kid Tommy.
