Texas had an opportunity to make adjustments, improve its play, and bury an inferior opponent in the second half, and that's exactly what it did. Yeah, the first half wasn't pretty at times, and a bit sluggish. But how many times have we been able to point to a game over the recent years and say that Texas absolutely crushed a team it was supposed to by dominating it down the stretch?
I don't know how much progress that is because it is San Jose State. But it's at least some level of progress after Maryland.
