Have you consider analyzing which college football positions are most likely to have a season ending injury in the first half of the season? My guess is that it is running back. I just have not seen hard data on which positions get those serious injuries the most. College coaches must know in order to balance out their rosters with sufficient backups. This "lets move a guy from some other position" seems problematic to me.
Any thoughts that aren't just guesses? I would love a breakdown like you do in other areas. What position gets hurt the least often by season ending injuries?
