No, the sky is not falling, I am bringing y'all football content this morning. I had the pleasure of attending the jersey ceremony for class of 2025 Rivals Top 100 ranked athlete Michael Terry III.
Terry, who plays for Alamo Heights Mules in San Antonio, was presented his Navy All-American Bowl jersey in a ceremony before his classmates, teammates, family, and friends. During his acceptance speech, Terry thanked his family, coaches, and teammates for always pushing him to be a better player and putting him in a position to succeed, while his head coach spoke about how he was an outstanding young man with a special gift, full of humility and a team first player.
Terry will be playing for the East team in the annual East v. West matchup that will be played in the Alamodome in San Antonio on January 11th, 2025 at 12 CST. This will be the 25th anniversary of the event itself.

- What does it mean to you to be a Navy All-American and play in this game against some of the best in the nation?
- "I am just blessed to have the opportunity to play against the best players in the nation and not many people get to do that, so I am just blessed."
- Alamo Heights has a bye week, your first of the season, allowing y'all to get some rest. How has the season gone for the Mules and for yourself?
- "I feel like we've had a pretty good season. We went 10-0 and won the district, so I think we have the potential to go pretty far as long as we keep working and try to get 1% better each day."
- December 4th [signing day] is rapidly approaching, how close are you to making a decision on where you will be attending school and are you still focused on the two finalists (Texas and Nebraska)?
- "I am pretty close. I've seen all the schools and made my visits. Texas and Nebraska are the two that I am considering. I've talked to the coaches and talked to my parents a lot. Open to going anywhere. Location doesn't matter to me or my parents, they want me to go somewhere I feel safe and comfortable, someplace I can thrive and get better. Nebraska was here last Thursday. My last visit to Texas was UTSA. Every time I've been up there, it's been a great environment. A lot of energy, positive energy and always feel welcome. Talked to the coaches about announcing today, but did not want to take away from the ceremony and what it means."
