The current news topic of the day today seems to be "Joe Biden to Propose Big Changes to the Supreme Court."
So, he wants to increase the number of justices and implement SCOTUS ethics standards.
That is simply not going to happen. He can't do it by EO, it will never pass Congress, and if it did it would not get the required 2/3 ratification of the states, and if it did it would still take years - more than the next Administration to get it done. Remember Roosevelt tried to re-vamp the Court and could not get it done - and he had one hell of a lot more political gravitas than Joe or Kamalot.
So, what is his point. His point is to just create a political issue that detracts from the real issues we should be looking at. It is a waste of our time and attention to discuss it in the context of the coming election.
