Texas is playing down to Baylor's ineptness instead of being ruthless and taking advantage of the situation. Frustrating. At least we are winning-I should be thankful.

Bruh, it's 20 to nothing, and we still don't have a QB. Calm down. Don't worry both these guys are in trouble next year with Kai and possibly Shane stepping in.
I am impressed with Strong's intensity. When he jumped all over Heard for sliding instead of turning it up....it was awesome! Turn it up the field!! you could read his lips saying it. I think a few penalties should have been called on Baylor.....how does their whole bench come on the field and no calls for anything????
They might not be worth a shit either Metcalf, we heard the same about Swoopes and Heard, there are only so many Studs and Beast going around, wait till they get on the field and show us, until then they just another HS QB..

The best way Texas can totally screw OU is to beat Baylor. The worse the beating, the worse the screwing..MSU beats hell out of Iowa....the committee is liable to take tOSU over OU....How about if NC beats Clemson?...They might get in....with that committee anything can happen.
Unfortunately, it is bigger than that man. At this point Texas needs to display a more semblance of organized ball. This game has been difficult to watch after the great start. Baylor is down to their 4th QB, and Texas is moping around. Let's hope they get an earful and come out stronger in the second half.
I never heard anybody rave about Swoopes. Sorry. Heard had potential, but has shown no improvement in the passing game whatsoever. I mean things you should know about playing QB by watching football on TV, for Christ's sake. He just doesn't get it. Kai is a coach's son with a much higher football IQ. From everything I've heard Kai has been killing it in practice all year. You NEVER heard anything close to that about Swoopes or Heard in practice. I'm telling you Kai will be ready for next season, and it would take a monumental improvement from Heard to hold him off. If Heard does hold him off, we're in good shape because that'll mean he's a lot better.

stupid penalties have cost alot....For certain at least 3 points maybe 7 off that INT. We had it at the 10 yd line...after the penalty...out to the 42...we end up missing a 48 yd and then 53 yd field goal.
You can tell the true Longhorn fans.....With a losing record We still get into and watch!! Win or lose I love the Longhorns.
Hard to look organized when you have two lost QBs, and the better one, which isn't saying much, is out with a head injury. Yeah Baylor is down to their 4th QB. So what? Welcome to our world. We've played without a QB all year. Just leveled the playing field IMO.
I agree with all you said here cause you maybe a better authority than m TV background , so that settles that, back when Swoopes was sitting with Mack , everyone was wanting him cause he was the man, some have short memories I guess Metcalf, and yes I believe in Texas, just like today winning aginst Baylor, wonder how many Coaches sons couldn't make the grade at QB, Holtz is still stting..just saying!

Umm, I'm sorry but there were many of us that were disappointed in Swoopes from signing day. Biggest "wtf" recruit I can remember. He had done nothing at a tiny school, and I wanted Barrett.
I'm not at home to watch the game, but I just saw the score and video of Baylor and Texas benches emptying after the Duke Thomas interception. Wow.
