We need Collin Simmons. When was the last time we had someone who could pressure the QB every down?
He played next to Alex January at Duncanville. Those 2 together are elite.

I can speak on Cruz. I have watched him play every game in high school as my son goes to Richland. He is a well spoken great kid. He does play with a nasty mentality on the field. He as been a tackle to this point, but they are moving him inside to center this year which will be MUCH better. The dude could run block with the best of them. I saw MANY pancake blocks and then shoving them down when they tried to get up(nasty part). His pass blocking was not great as a tackle. His footwork was a bit off(coaches at Richland are terrible). Quicker ends got around him pretty easily. At center I really think he will find his place. I think overall it will be a great pick up.

Simmons is Sergio Kindle reborn. That’s the most important recruit of the class imo, absolute must get.

Seem like a good kid, he should put the guitar down and focus on football only, see Shipley, Jordan, as good at football as he was, he was equally as bad at singing

4* WR Aeryn Hampton is announcing his commitment today at 5pm CST between Texas and Bama. All signs are pointing to the good guys. He is the #154 player in the country. Will be a nice bump to the recruiting ranking!
On a related note: Sark has been winning some nice head to head battles against some of the big dogs: Bama, UGA etc. Gotta give him credit.

Aggies love to complain about the "Texas bump" in recruiting, that a HS commit gets a bump after committing to Texas. Well low and behold, On3 just bumped up the entire Aggie class yesterday! Their 3* QB commit, Miles O Neill, jumped up 500 spots to a 4*, and is now the #58 player in their country per On3. 247, ESPN, and Rivals all list him as a 3* lol. They had like 3-4 other 3*'s that are now 4*'s.
Something tells me Aggie wont be complaining about the Texas bump anymore! Nothing to see here!!

Come on man, there's a logical explanation for this Aggy bump. Ask any Aggy and they'll tell you that it's because Jimbo is such a fantastic evaluator of talent that the mere mention of a recruit's name by St Jimbo is grounds to bump them up at least 1.5 stars. Plus he's doing things the right way and recruiting with culture and not money whipping kids.

My concern is Ewers and the phantom penalties called by the refs against us. Ewers is going to have to be stellar to beat the zebras this year. If I'm Sark, I have no mercy on any of the old b12 members that are left behind. I would run it up to 100 if possible. I know many don't want us to chant S-E-C at the games but if we are winning in the 4th, it's going to happen.

I love the way Sark has been filling this roster out the last few years. Putting heavy emphasis on the line of scrimmage. That's where football games are won and a big reason Herman struggled at times.
