Question on numbers. In 25/26 season, scholarship limit goes to 105. Will there be an annual limit to number that can be taken? Seems teams took a relatively small number (22-26 this year for most teams, some under 20 - Mizzou took 17 and Colorado took 14!). Given uncertainty of portal exits and entries it has to be difficult as a coach to plan for future. My main question is given how erratic our kicker is why not find the best HS kicker in TX/country , one year preferred walk on and then scholly next three years. Current K misses may still cost us a game - needs to be addressed for future IMHO.

You guys are way too hard on carrot top. He hit a crucial late in the game fg against Alabama 2 years ago. Although we lost late in the have he gave us an opportunity. He did the same thing last year against Oklahoma. He did his part the defense couldn't finish. And then there the hair and the Craig Sager wardrobe how can you not love the kid?
