I say Kansas keeps it close with Texas slipping away in the 2nd quarter..half time score 28-13 half time


Texas comes out and closes it out ending 42-20 Texas

Players of the game . QE with 4 total TDs ( No turnovers) and Ford with a sack and another INT .


Oh yeah and a Ethan Burke Sack.

I'm surprised we're that big a favorite. I was thinking along the same lines 42/24 good guys. Ok correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe Jake Majors hasn't had a false start the last 3 games I know he didn't have any against Alabama. Brooks got his first non garbage playing time in the Alamo Bowl and since then he's scored a td in every game.

KU has scored at least 30 pts in all 4 games, but Texas’s D is better than anything they have faced. I am not sold on PK containing Daniels, but I will give him the benfit of the doubt based on Milroe.

This is the best offense we have seen by far. I think the defense is up for the challenge, but Kansas will score points and make plays. We're at home, trying to get to 5-0 for the first time since 2009. Hopefully the guys understand that and are focused this week.

I'm thinking a close game for a while. Texas' depth on the LOS is the X factor here. I think we pull away in the late 3Q

I feel like some are giving Kansas a little bit too much credit. They are a good team but I don't think they've played anybody. I know Daniels was coming off injury last year when we played them but we had no problem containing him. Defense is even better this year. Our defense has yet to have an off day this year. Don't think that changes this weekend. We just have too much talent and depth on the line of scrimmage this year.

I'm starting to think this defense is going to be as good as the 2008 defense was. With all the young guys getting a lot of reps we are only going to get better as the season progresses.

Definitely have not played anyone close to the same talent level. I expect to be frustrated by off schedule plays between the 20's. Good guys by 14 or more.

I had a professor in grad school who was very cute in a nerdy way. She was a Jayhawk alum. She once docked me 9 pts on a term paper but couldn't explain what had cost me the points. Then she did it again later in the semester. Still got an "A" but have held a grudge ever since so I'm thinking the Jayhawks get a sentimental 18 for my lost research paper points but the good guys get revenge by hanging the first 40+ spot of the year on the board.....

Their RB Neal is pretty damn good. 5th year senior who is the real leader of the team. Very mature and savvy vet player who other players follow. He reminds me of Rojo in both running style and leadership. We need to make sure not to let him run wild. He can hurt us if we’re not disciplined.

KU O is better than OU. The QB is better as well and it’s not close. KU might be the best offense Texas sees in regular season

Texas is a way different team than 2 years ago, but so is KU. Daniels and Neal were not intimidated and pulled out a win. That deserves some respect, imo.

I hate to break it to you, but most of the guys on that 2021 defense are no longer on this roster lol. This defense is night and day better than that unit....

PK is a common variable. No way Texas had worse talent than all the teams KU played in 2021. KU only had 2 wins all season (their only wins were TX and S. Dakota) where the other teams throttled KU. Just something to think about

Another fun factoid….UT has scored more than 50 points against KU three seasons in a row. Over 550 yards of offense in each of those games too. Both teams are improving but I still don’t see this as a close game. Texas wins handily.
