But remember the correct name is Memorial Stadium. It was opened in 1924 and it was built to honor the sons of Texas who gave their lives in WW1.

Imho maybe we could rename the playing field in relation to that. I know there's a statue of a WW1 soldier but it's in the south end zone where nobody can see it.

I know that we can't name the field after everyone who ever played but ... VY got ripped off on the Heisman - as long as we are recognizing injustices from the past, lets right that wrong and add VY into the field naming.

If they can’t put VY’s name on the stadium the least the big wigs can do is move his statue front and center

I’m tired of this crap. Some of them are a bunch of underachieving crybabies. Win some damn games and quit losing to the Luke’s of Iowa State, Baylor and TCU, Kansas State and playing to the wire to beat lowly Kansas! ! Do you think that Alabama would lose to these schools? Not in a million years!!
