Comparing Applewhite to multiple rape/sexual assualts, victim retaliation/intimidation by coaches, coaches lying to victims, coaches covering up crimes, etc

Baylor fans: Texas kicked players out of the program and forced them off campus before they went to trial and shortly after they were arraigned. It didnt take a media shit-storm to force Texas to act and coaches did not try to repeatedly cover up misdeeds. Yes, the mistreatment of women has been a global problem for 1000s of years, that was not the issue that led to Briles being fired

Jaw-dropping stupid... (some) Baylor fans... wow

With all due respect, this was also included in the thread:

Does this make everybody feel better? You going to forward this to the BOR . . . maybe they will reconsider on Briles. "We changed our mind." Stop with this. This is our problem; we need to find a way to make massive operational corrections on the fly and get back in the game ASAP.

You got plenty of ammo to embarrass Baylor. You don't need to stoop to culling for a couple of ridiculous comments from shell shocked fans.

Wow, reading through that thread is challenging. Glad I don't have posting privileges there.

I do agree with diadevic, it's a small (yet loud and persistent) group that is perseverating on the issues at other schools. They are really missing the point. Several other posters have stepped in to point out the nonsense.

I don't think thegivingtree was culling all that hard. The title of the thread is "Rape problem at UT..."

Edited OP but if you read what A LOT of Baylor people are writing on social media etc... It's more than just a couple, it's Aggie like delusion but more disgusting considering the subject

You are correct - they are out there. But the silent majority are trying to figure out how this happened and how we can move forward - not blaming UT or some vast media conspiracy.

How did UT become the bad guy in Baylor's troubles? What is the genesis of that? Or is UT just always the bad guy no matter what happens?

If we put half the effort we use in orchestrating the destructon of Baylor into our own program, we could win a handful of NCs over the next few years.

What orchestration are you talking about exactly? From whom?

Sarcasm regarding the Baylor fans who think UT is behind this. The amount of effort to pull this off could accomplish a lot.

So Baylor fans are bitter conspiracy theorists with no basis. Got it.

Basically it's a sentiment of "some" of them that ESPN is giving this so much air time because of their investment in LHN. Tear down Baylor so Texas can rise in its place, so to speak.

It's the latter. Ask any fan of the big-time cheaters that hastened the inevitable death of the SWC (SMU, aggy, UH). It's always UT's fault that they cheated and/or that they got caught. And, of course, it's all UT's fault that former Big 12 schools opted to chase bigger paydays in demographically stronger conferences.

Real Bear is indeed on the Baylor site telling EVERYONE what a pack of lies was used to bring down St Briles...He also tells EVERYONE over there that he is unable to come on OB and debate the pack of lies because he was unfairly...AND WITH NO WARNING..kicked off OB, where he did nothing wrong but dispute the PACK OF LIES BEING TOLD ON OB...

The boy is plum sick I tell ya.

Real Bear needs to eat a fat bag of dicks.

FIFY.

And fwiw - how does he even justify this as a Texas plot against Baylor when the entire country is blasting them... plus all the victims and the trails of evidence the investigation found.. not too mention the stupid slips Starr has made when speaking of this.... I knew real bear wasnt very bright, but he has officially surpassed every other fan base on the planet in terms of lunacy all by himself... guy is more delusional than an aggy mixed with a sooner mixed with a down syndrome patient while overdosing on LSD and meth stuck in WOnderland with Alice and the white rabbit.....

What Realbear is posting over there is every negative article he can dig up on UT/Austin to show that however bad baylor is, UT is the same or worse. He posts lists of how many assaults have occurred at UT -vs-other Big 12 schools. He conveniently doesnt mention assaults involving PLAYERS....anyway you look, the boy has gone bizzarro.

Wow. You are spot on. He was always delusional but really snapped after the Texas game last year. His posts over there are just psychotic. Must really sick to be him

Proof positive that BU fans....or at least some of them are beyond hope...

Write those names down. Commit them to memory. Face plant them if you see them in public.

Seriously though, if K* failed to help/assist/get to the bottom of one single sexual assault/rape that was brought before him, he deserves to be tried and imprisoned. I read that essay that the girl wrote called "baylor I don't love you anymore" or something to that effect, and if what she says is true, K* needs 5 minutes in a room with no windows, and every male member of her family.....

Big 12 or NCAA needs to get involved asap, if a school ever deserved the death penalty in the modern era of college football this might be the one time I would support it
