I'm expecting ALL of you to buy one for your wife this Xmas.
The ONLY time a manpurse could be acceptable.
Anybody fired one of these new puppies?

The more I read about the 5.7-- the more I think I want one. It's a hot sh!t round that can knock holes through level 3-- and it seems like it's the perfect round for Mozambique errrrr I mean "failure drill" situations.
Jesus Christ man. That thing is the size of a PDW. I might as well grab an LWRC PDW and tote it around.I've only ever seen that it can penetrate Level IIIA, not Level III. In any case, Ft. Hood massacre notwithstanding, 5.7x28mm is pretty much unanimously despised as overrated garbage on Lightfighter (mostly military and LE) on the basis of plenty of real-world experience. I'd read up more over there before buying the hype. Although the AP round (hard to obtain) will defeat soft armor, the caliber sucks at barrier penetration in general -- and at achieving adequate penetration in just standard ballistic testing.
Here's my preferred vehicle for launching high-velocity pills from a pistol:

Granted, this particular gun -- the FK BRNO 7.5 FK Field Pistol -- and the two available 5.7x28mm pistols aren't competing head-to-head in any way. This all-steel behemoth weighs well over twice as much as the FN Five-Seven, retails (or retailed) for roughly seven times as much, is fitted like a Swiss P210, and is pretty tough to find (with only 1,000 having been made). And it shoots a round -- the 7.5 FK -- that is far, far hotter than the 5.7x28mm.
But, this insane limited-production gun did spawn a regular-production, polymer-framed version that's a bit more practical (lighter, 3/4" shorter). The polymer-framed FK BRNO PSD can be found for around $1,850 last I checked, or about one-fourth of the retail price of the all-steel Field Pistol. It's not going to win any beauty contests -- the original is itself pretty unusual looking, and housing for the recoil attenuation system in the polymer frame is . . . considerably less elegant -- but if you're interested in shooting a super-high-velocity and hard-hitting round from a pistol, there's no match for this round. Instead of 27-grain bullets at ~2,050 fps and 40-grain bullets at ~1,700 fps, the FK is launching 95- and 101-grain pills at ~2,000 fps. There are enough videos of its impressive ballistic performance on Youtube to keep you busy for a while.
I don't own the PSD, but here's someone else's pic:

But looking at the ballistics, it has 60% more energy than the 5.7--
Those rounds can't be cheap. And the Czechs are the only manufacturer.
Here's a quick video that talks about its penetration capabilities.
The guy says that only 3 calibers have ever penetrated the 1.5 inch poly "bulletproof" glass. The 5.7 is one of them. Watch what the 7.5 does.
Wow.I wasn’t sure where to post this. Check out this simultaneous kill shot on two rattlesnakes with a bow.

Woah, don’t know if this belongs here but to combine the two if I was stoned (I’m not right now) this would probably be the most awesome video I ever saw…for at least 2 minutes.Wow.

I’ve shot at flying foam discs with my recurve and trying to shoot a flying target with a traditional bow seems almost impossible!Find the video of the bow hunters shooting pheasant-- in the air...
