about this years GSW in the NBA - NO they could not beat the 96 Bulls........ hell they couldnt even beat the 2016 Cavs from CLEVELAND. Isure didnt want Lebronkey to win one, but now all those bandwagon GSW fans will disappear for awhile...

BTW - decent game last night.

I don't know how Adam silver sleeps at night.

Tim Donaghy called who the refs would be prior to the game and basically said "Silver wants Lebron and Cleveland".

Now I have to spend the next year listening to espn choke on lebron's choade.

The refs did not change the game for or against anyone last night though clob. I had no dog in the fight and I thought it was called decent.

My prediction is this. So long as Lebron is in Cleveland and there is no chance a big market team is going to get into the finals in that conference. You can bet the NBA will not allow an Oklahoma City or San Antonio into the finals.

NBA will allow one small market team in, but not two. Last time they allowed two small market team in the finals was SA and Cleveland, and that resulted in very low TV ratings. That is not going to happen again.

SWVAHORN, just do a Google search of Donaghy over the last 2 weeks. Look at his interview regarding Draymond Green and why he was suspended for the lebron incident and why he wasn't suspended for MUCH worse during the OKC series. I can't stand either team, life long spurs fan, but I'm telling you, something is afoul in Denmark.

Why doesn't the NBA just have Donaghy killed? I mean they've got to be more than capable of killing someone off. Look at all the other vast conspiracies they've pulled off.

Because Green didn't get suspended for the OKC series (he should have) doesn't mean he should have got a pass for doing "much less" to Lebron. Wouldn't you agree Clob? I mean maybe the NBA "had" to do something they way he kept playing dirty. I don't know but I don't think it was a conspiracy. Too many people would have to be involved and in on it. I think impossible to get by with in today's world. I guess you never know though. I do see your point but I just think the NBA was forced into disciplining Green.

Do players flop because during the course of a game they are hit by a bullet from the grassy knoll?

I don't think it was fixed, but in Clob's defense, Donaghy is on record as saying he knew which refs called games which way (i.e. allowed more or less physical play) and bet accordingly. Not quite the same as being fixed, but certainly gave the gambler an advantage.
