I have watched him several times this week (watching right now). His voice is quite a bit softer in volume - so much so he is reminding me of that pubic-headed artist on PBS who spoke in stream-of-consciousness as he painted.
If he can portray himself as more "stable" and less "baffoonish" it will go a long way to giving the undecideds, moderates and #neverHillary folks pull the lever for him. I don't know that it will immediately affect the polls as those are probably all going to scew against him.
