Ungrateful and small minded bama fans

You definitely have more. I wouldn't call it jealousy. We have always taken pride in our "Cult" status. I would call anyone who didn't go to that school a t-shirt fan. I just never argue about stuff much with Aggie fans about much because we are drinking the same coolaid.

What exactly constitutes “going to that school?”

Like I asked, graduated, enrolled, took classes? What is the exact cut off in your mind, and why is it that only aggies seem to throw this around?

Are kids who’s parents are alumni considered t-shirt fans? Do you talk shit to babies in UT onesies?

Alabama fans are truly the worst fans in American sports. Forget about tOSU fans Alabama fans are on a whole nother level. There was the fan who was agitated over crepe paper on the statue of Bear Bryant at a Bama/Auburn game. To make matters worse Auburn won the game. So this dude goes to the Auburn campus and poisons a spirit tree that's a big part of their fb tradition. He killed that tree over one game. Then there was the woman who was drunk and did a dive into a crowd of OK fans at the SB a few years ago. And still another fan who shot a friend because they weren't upset enough after a loss to Auburn. That more than anything else is why I can't stand the Alabama crimson tide

I wouldn't label Alabama fans the worst. Maybe they could be called the most unrealistic, but not the worst. The worst fans in college sports are Ohio State fans, and its not even close. The worst fans in all of sports are Philadelphia fans. They wrote the book on being shi**y fans.

I don’t recall Ohio st fans shooting others over games nor destroying sacred campus monuments. Bammers are sick people.

Couple that with his dislike for his roommate and that was the bulk of the problem. Roommate was loud, one of those local yokels who had an opinion about everything and didn't mind letting you know it.

Perfect description of Bammers. Their football team wins so they know everything.

I think the first indicator for TShirt fan status is whether you are an a$$h0le or not. If not, nobody cares if you went there.

So you agree that is perfectly fine to degrade someone who is a fan of the University of (insert any state), even if that person grew up in that state, lives in that state, and/or has spent their entire life watching and rooting for that team?

So..... You shouldn’t be allowed to be a fan of a professional sports team unless you live in that city, right?

I know A LOT of aggie fans who never went to a&m, and I’ve never heard them called a T-shirt fan.

So, what is the cutoff criteria to NOT be a t-shirt fan? Graduated from, or just attended? Is an associate okay, or does it have to at least be a bachelors? Does post-grad count, or only undergrad? Is there a time requirement, say it has to at least be a semester? Does enrolled in a class count, or do you actually have to attend a class? Is only one class okay, or does it have to be more than one? How many? Does an adult continuing education class count? What about if you work for the college, can employees be fans even if they didn’t attend? There are thousands more, but hopefully you get the point...

I’m really curious to know where that firm line between who is legitimately allowed to be a fan of a sports team, in your eyes, without you looking down on them. Please tell us all what qualifications are good enough to suit you self appointed assholes, who look down your noses on people because they enjoy the sports of one team over another.... While you’re at it, why don’t you go ahead and tell every why YOU get to make those determinations.

Let’s be honest, the only reason aggies cry about t-shirt fans is because you are jealous. Texas has always done more and had more, which pisses you off. That’s why you can’t leave us alone YEARS after you left the conference. That’s why y’all are still so obsessive.

It’s sad...

Mic drop. Well said, txleapd!

I only invoke the tshirt reference when someone starts dropping academic or other "at school" related smack. Usually that's a family member trash talking and sending me a link to the US News engineering school rankings. The dumbf*** couldn't even pass high school geometry, but somehow gets scoreboard over an actual degree? Nope.

Athletics is different. Follow your team....talk trash....who cares if you went there.

It is always ranked higher. Never cared enough to dig into the methodology, but they are usually about the same distance apart. Should my dipsh!t relative be able to talk engineering school trash? If he does, I might bring up the fact he couldn't cut at the community college.

Why do you let it bother you? Who cares? Stop talking to them if it's that big of a deal.

Same reason y'all are bothered that people said Georgia didn't care about that game. :)
You mean besides their head coach? What people are you referring to exactly? Dipshit aggys?

Kirby Smart after loss to Texas:

On Georgia’s focus for the Sugar Bowl

“...You’re thinking about Texas. When you’re on the practice field, you’re thinking about Texas. We’re prepared for Texas. “We prepared for Texas for a long time...We had an opponent to play, a good football team in which our team was focused on ready to play.

...our team was motivated to play Texas. Texas outplayed us, outcompeted us. They outcoached us. They out physicaled [sic] us. They did a lot of things better than us, and I think you give Tom [Herman] a lot of credit.”

Texas is better at teaching and placing engineering students.
Maybe. We're only a few rankings behind though. (I can say WE with confidence here). Even ranked higher than the bastion of educational awesomeness Rice University. I got a good deal for my money.

I was referring to his question "who cares why do you let it bother you". The same applies to you...you won the game. Who GAF what anyone else thinks?

Great, now I know you understand that no one else cares, right? No one likes a braggart. Be humble, it's much easier and less taxing on the ego.

I just don't like lies from bitter aggys that's all. Such as Georgia wasn't motivated or ready to play. As clearly explained by their head coach.

Please provide support for your very vague and unprovable "people said" and "what anyone else thinks" comments though. Who's saying that exactly? Besides dishonest aggys who are still crying like little girls that we hit Georgia in the mouth of course?

Who’s saying Georgia didn’t want to be there and was unmotivated besides butthurt, lying, coattail riding, loser aggys? You were referencing “those people“ talking about that. Just asking you to back that up.

Again the question of "who cares what anyone else says" comes into mind. I didn't dig too deeply into the discussions, but I do know it was out there. Enough to where Kirby had to address it. I'm sure it came from Georgia fans and SEC humpers, of which plenty are Ags.

But the real intent of my post was....your team just kicked the shat out of the SEC #2 in the Sugar Bowl....and did it in convincing fashion. Last thing that would enter my mind would be what some dipsh!t internet trolls were saying about it.

So dishonest SEC homers and bitter aggys were saying it. Thanks for admitting that. I was just poking a hole in your “people are saying” comments as if it’s a widespread given fact. SEC cheerleader excuse makers who were trying to explain the loss were the only ones. And Kirby Smart shot them down. But aggys like you keep stating it as fact.

If you replaced “people are saying” with “dumbass SEC homers are saying”, I would take zero issue with it.

Love it that the $EC's top two teams got smoked in their bowl games. Turns out what many people thought and have been saying that the $EC is vastly overrated.

Don’t say “people are saying” as if it’s an accepted fact. It’s dishonest.
