Just texted a source about RT Brandon Hodges, who suffered a leg injury at the end of the Oklahoma game, and was told he has been back at practice this week. Both Hodges and Tristan Nickelson, who started versus Iowa State, have mixed in with the first group at RT since Hodges' return.
Barring any setbacks, Hodges is on schedule to play this week versus KSU. It remains to be seen whether Nickelson will once again get the starting nod as he is back healthy himself. Nickelson was the presumed starter coming into the season before his terrific summer was derailed with an ankle injury during fall camp. However, Hodges has been an above-average option to start the season in Nickelson's stead -- and is technically more of a known commodity at this time than Nickelson if 100% healthy.
7:10pm update - Source also just texted that C Zach Shackelford is still out. By the sounds of it if (held completely out of practice on Tuesday of a game week in shorts and shoulder pads), Shack looks like a good bet at this time to miss another week at least, with Jake McMillon continuing to fill in at center.
