For the Democrats, I think Biden, should he win, is an obvious one term candidate. Assuming he finishes his term, who are the likely Democrat contenders? I think Gavin Newsom has set himself up nicely for a run. Joe Kennedy, assuming he wins the Senate seat in Massachusetts, will likely have a shot, plus Governor Cuomo.
Who on the Republican side? Nikki Haley would probably have some backing, as well as Vice President Pence and Senator Rubio.
On the surface, it seems like there may be a better slate of candidates in four years, although that’s probably up for interpretation.
