In talking to an Arizona State insider today, it sounds like ASU is very confident about its chances of landing Stanford OL transfer Casey Tucker. Tucker, who visited Arizona State last weekend, played high school ball at Chandler (AZ) Hamilton, and there's some thought that the draw of coming back home has Tucker leaning ASU's way.
Also, I'm told the Sun Devils are planning to move their left tackle to center, so Tucker feels he has a chance to slide into the starting left tackle spot should he chose ASU.
Tucker visited Texas earlier this month. He was supposed to visit Colorado this weekend, but I'm told that visit will not happen.
We'll see if Texas can make one more late push here, but people at ASU believe they have the inside track.
