I spoke with international French guard Evan Boisdur, who is currently exploring the college route after playing overseas at just 19 years old. Standing at 6’1”, Boisdur is considered one of the top scorers in France. In U21 competition, he averaged 21.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.

Currently, Texas and Boisdur have remained in contact and have expressed mutual interest. The 19-year-old Frenchman noted that his conversations with head coach Sean Miller and his staff have been positive, putting the Longhorns in a solid position in his recruitment.

When asked about the biggest factor in choosing a school, Boisdur emphasized the importance of being in an environment that will support his development to the fullest. As he continues to play overseas, he is actively working through any potential eligibility concerns to ensure everything aligns with his goals and expectations. As for when we can expect a decision from Boisdur, the talented 19-year-old hopes to make his decision before his regular season ends on May 17.

Since announcing his intention to pursue the NCAA route, Boisdur has been in contact with programs such as Texas, Florida, Providence, Butler, Loyola Chicago, and more. Boisdur has not taken any official visits yet due to his current season overseas, but he plans to visit campuses once his season wraps up this summer.
