With the way it's gone this year I wouldn't be surprised if there's not a couple of wild upsets.
I hope so. Especially after all the hubris the "elite" journalists talked about there being too many teams in the World Cup.

We're just not that good. The Dutch-- beating us like we won't stay below deck.
But boy do we have some atrocious hair....we should get a prize just for that.....almost makes me want to root for the demi-Germans....We're just not that good.
Honestly was expecting a beating from the English but this will do just the same. The Dutch-- beating us like we won't stay below deck.
Spoiler alert--Honestly was expecting a beating from the English but this will do just the same.
I don’t buy that. When that whistle blows athletes are going to compete.Spoiler alert--
The English were told to not embarrass us to help create the facade that our professional league is making advances in talent. Why? Because Brits own MLS teams and there are upcoming contract deal for TV rights between Premier league officials and US networks.
If the US looks like they are getting better, then maybe viewership will increase in the US which means more viewers of the Premier league as well.
Do you believe the college all-star b-ball team beat the 92 Dream Team in Santa Barbara during a scrimmage too? Fair and square?I

50 to 100 years. You get the feeling that soccer is slowing working it's way into the American sports conciseness. Little by little. And as the money gets grows, so will the caliber of athlete attracted to that sport. But I think soccer is at least 15 or 20 years away from seriously contending with even ice hockey.
It's hard to watch a whole match for me. I'm always fast forwarding though either teams possession in their own half. I'll wait till I can see it's in the final third of the field before I watch it in regular time.
I agree. England is overrated. So Brits own MLS teams and Americans own Prem teams. Crazy shit.
England are pretty overrated.
Uh.... yes. Miami MLS is owned by David Beckham.
Here's the list of Premier teams iwned by Americans--

I'm telling you guys-- there was a wink and a nod to Gareth Southgate not to embarrass the US national team.
50 to 100 years.
Gotta admit, England looked like crap at first. Took those initial threats from Senegal and your boy Pickford's great save to get the lads to perform a cranial rectal removal.....
And down goes Brazil! Croatia got them in penalty kicks. That was a fun ending.
You would have had yourself a day if you would have done that lol.I'm so mad...I was gonna lay a little on Croatia to advance. It was paying +425. But I picked Brazil to win it all and wussed out.
Ok you kickball ninnies-- Clob is going to be in France starting this weekend until after Xmas-- with a few days in Switzerland for blah blah snow shit. If France makes it to the finals, I'll be in country for the game. I've also hatched a devious plan to conduct a base jump from the Eiffel tower on the eve of or eve eve of Christmas. Now before you sh!t birds get all worked up- I said I was going to conduct a base jump. I have no desire to go to jail in France though what I'm planning may very well end up causing that.
Just know, if you see news reports about a parachute floating down from the top of the tower with a camera and a jumper- clob organized it.
I've stolen my neighbors Elf on da shelf. They don't know. I'm leaving a hostage note tomorrow night. I'm taking Elfie with me to Europe. I've made rigging and a chute for the elf and have attached a small mini-cam to him. He will be jumping from 906 ft with a calculated 3 second free fall until chute deployment. It will then take roughly 92 seconds for the Elf to reach terra firma, unless there's a breeze blowing from the south or east, then we could end up feet wet. It's winter so doubt that's a possibility.
Since twitter has a new owner, I have opened a new account called @Yathatsbulls_t
You'll know it's me when you get there.
Follow along and share ideas of how I can make Elfie maximize his fun potential in France.
