If the Astros lose tonight and then lose game 5, is this the biggest flop in MLB playoffs history?
Looks like we're going back to Houston for game five with Cole pitching. Thing is, if Houston wins this series, our pitching rotation is all jacked up going into the Yankees series.
Disappointing for sure but not the worst. TB is the one team I really hoped wouldn't make it because they pretty much had the Astros number all season. If the Astros lose tonight and then lose game 5, is this the biggest flop in MLB playoffs history?
Nope. No 2 at bats against the same pitcher last night. If we get out to a lead I fully expect Morton to come in too.Actually, facing Glasnow is preferable to the "starter" approach. I think our struggle last night was as much the parade of pitchers. Did an Astro hitter face the same pitcher twice?
Didn't they change the rule that a pitcher had to pitch an entire inning? All these pitching changes by the Rays is just bonkers.
Onto the Yankees.
Saturday will be a fun day!
Go Stros!
Well, split the series at home and heading to NY without using Cole yet.
Hitting, especially timely hitting needs to improve.
Go Stros!
Over/under on Correa receiving a 98mph fastball to the ribs in NY tomorrow night?
Yeah no kidding.This. They're not hitting well with runners in scoring position.
To steal a line from Major League: Yordan Alvarez has left a small village on the basepath this postseason.

Agreed. It's not nearly as prevalent as it used to be but it does still happen every now and then. There's still some traditional baseball purists out there that would view Correas bat drop, salute, slow walk & helmet 3pt shot as major disrespect to their team and the game. This "retaliation" thing is MLB is ridiculous. Let's hope that this kind of thing doesn't happen. If you don't want a guy hitting a home run, then pitch better. You don't see players retaliating in football or basketball if a player "celebrates too much" after they make a good play. Baseball has some goofy unwritten rules. Just stupid.

I'd agree if it was a typical mid-game solo hr but this was a walkoff hr in the playoffs, Correas 1st.
Remember back when a pitcher hit a batter they had to tip their hat and if they didn't there'd be a bench emptying meeting at the mound.
Yeah, it's all stupid but I have to admit......... I kinda like it.
