Biden fear mongering Covid hoax No. 2

Hoping for a speedy recovery Robo. This is a virus that we will adapt and learn to live with. Like the flu, we're all likely to contract Covid at some point in our lives so it really shouldn't shock anyone when we see people testing positive. Like with any other illness, we take personal responsibility to make sure we're treated properly and do what is necessary to try not to spread it to others. By no means is it a death sentence nor a reason to shut down the whole damn world and impose ridiculous vaccine and mask mandates. We never did it for the flu so there's no purpose to start with Covid. In fact, the 2019 flu season experienced similar rates of infections and deaths as Covid in 2020. It's all a political crap show with Covid right now.
Sleepy and Fauci's political crap show. 👍

100% correct! You absolutely nailed it!

Are y'all recommending killing people and taking over the government because Trump lost....am I missing something here?
I think the only thing yer missing here is oxygen. Now, pull yer head out of yer ass. It's toxic up there, clouds yer thinking. God dam, how long's this been goin on son?

I teach both secondary and college level US History and Modern European history. It really isn't a challenge with current events as I am a historian. I stick to the past. When students want to discuss current events, I can always draw parallels to the past to get back on track. When politics come up, I am always playing Devil's Advocate. Just this week I was put in the spot of having to defend President Biden's decision to shutdown Keystone. It has always been my view that my job is to teach kids how to think critically, not to indoctrinate them. Give both sides and as @weevilcatch said, let logic carry the day.

This is it! I constantly present the argument no matter the position. You can have an opinion and even share it in my room, but you better be able to defend it with reason and evidence.

Just this week we discussed student loan forgiveness, stimmy checks and how redistribution of wealth is a fallacy, masks and vaccines. It is wonderful.

No, no, no … you don’t get to do that. Reread my posts above regarding an amicable divorce. What you are doing is evil. Not cool at all. It’s libelous. Not cool.

Ok Dan,

We are going to talk plainly.

I assume you know why our country declared war on Britain. The Brits were forcing us to do things against our will. That is called "tyranny". If any government forces you, a citizen, to do something against your will, so long as you're not violating the laws on the books, they can't force you to do it. Make sense?

But when a government DOES start acting in a tyrannical manner-- like say forcing people into lock downs-- or forcing people to put something in their body that they may not need or want, that could be potentially harmful to them-- this is called tyranny. And since the declaration says "if a government us acting tyrannical, you are obligated as citizens to destroy that government by ANY MEANS NECESSARY, and rebuild a new one.

You still with me?

If tomorrow you and the Mrs are forced to go get an injection and your wife dies because of that injection-- or side effects from it-- guess what Dan? There's isn't shit you can do about it. You can't haul them into court, sue them, charge them with a crime-- nothing. You are shit out of luck. Your wife is dead and the government is responsible. That is tyranny.

Am I making any headway in your headspace Dan?

You talking about that fraudulent election? Yes, a government rigging elections is a cause for revolution. Unless, of course, you actually believe that brain dead nitwit that couldn’t get 20 people to a rally actually got 81 million votes. In which case, you need a...oh what am I saying? You must’ve already had a lobotomy.

I'm going to leave this thread to you guys.....I'm an old fart and totally realize now that this isn't a healthy discussion for me. I wish y'all the best and hope for a bunch of Longhorn victories this fall....La and Arkansas games are going to tell us a lot about this team going forward....Hook em.

Trying to educate Dan, and Dan pushes back from the table.

Good luck to you Dan. You're gonna need it, my man.

I know you’ve mentioned before that you’re in education, what level do you teach? Must be a challenge dancing around current events.
Yeah, but rest assured, he proudly helped the libtards indoctrinate our children with their pc BS

edit to add "proudly"

Dr.
What steps do you deem necessary AND adequate to not spread Covid to others? (symptomatically or asymptomatically)

I love Wayne Toups. I don't know of you're familiar with San Antonio but my first wife and I saw him at Sunken Gardens in 1989. Great show. And you know Zydeco is popular in Beaumont which makes sense because imo Beaumont is more LA than TX anyway.
Love Zydeco....wife/relatives are from Abbeville, La.

First the Obama Bday celebration and now this. 90% of the maskless attendees appear to be older than 60. No political message here; just makes one wonder when the government establishment is going about their business while simultaneously communicating an alarmist message to the general population. Critical thinking.

On the first day of class I customarily go around and ask each student who their college football team is. This year I had a new girl, from California, who looked up at me and said, she couldn't understand why people would get worked up over college football. I smiled and welcomed her to the South and told her that her family had moved to the wrong state.

I can just hear it now, "well missy......................."
Good stuff. 😁

What I really enjoyed about the video was the fact that there are no black people at all in the crowd. Not one.

First off, I’m not a doctor. The DR in my handle is meant to reflect something else. As for steps to prevent the spread of Covid, the most effective in my opinion are maintaining personal hygiene and social distancing. Staying home if you don’t feel well also works. Same basic steps we’ve all taken for as long as we’ve all lived. I don’t believe that masks are nearly as effective. Just my opinion.
