Biden fear mongering Covid hoax No. 2

That's pretty accurate.

Question has anyone tested positive or got this "covid"? Any insight how you handled it or whatever cause I just tested positive today.
I had it back in March and it was like the flu on steroids for me. I'm 35 and in perfect health. Exercise 6 days a week, don't smoke and only drink occasionally. My mother in law got it at the same time and it almost killed her. She's 60 and in really good health as well. She doesn't smoke or drink and isn't overweight.

It scared me enough to go get my vaccine and i'm the type that has never had a flu shot in my life. It's a weird virus and it's even more strange how everybody's experience varies a ton.

My brother got it. I was asymptomatic. He's about 2 inches shorter than I and about 40 lbs heavier. He hasn't been in a weight room or gym since his kids were born 13 years ago. He was literally in hell for 2 weeks. Said at one point he had to talk himself out of throwing himself out the 2nd story window of his house because it wasn't high enough.

I work out a minimum of 3 times a week. We share similar DNA-- I'm a chronic asthmatic-- I'm convinced his weight was the 1 factor in this.

I'm in the weight room 5-6 days a week and run 10 miles a week. I'm 6'2 205 with 11% bodyfat and it kicked my ass for 7 days. It's just a weird virus in the way it effects people differently. I definitely had a different outlook towards it when it almost killed my mother in law. I still refuse to let it dictate my life though. I just take precautions like wash my hands and try not touch my face with dirty hands. I hate how the whole thing has become politicized.

I’ve told this story before but it’s such a good story I’ll tell it again. I got a flu type thing in the early part of 2020. I keep a stash of z packs at my house that I bought online about 5 years ago because I get sinus infections once or twice a year. So early last year I got what felt like a flu/head cold thing and I felt everything kind of go to my lungs.

So, being the quick thinker that I am I popped a z pack when I felt my lungs getting congested, about the 3rd day of these symptoms. As expected that z pack stopped that deal in its tracks but I coughed stuff up from deep in my lungs for about 3 weeks.

so yes for anyone wondering Belldozer has had and defeated the Covid flu. My wife tested positive but had no symptoms as well and we’re vaccine free.

I wish I could say I'm in perfect health at the age I'm at, but I'm not.....I'm just a year older than you and I do about push ups every night I play softball every Thursday night and no where in the shape where I was when I was younger where my best mile was a 4:12. I rarely drink I don't smoke and I'm 6'2 229. I have diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure which I do take pills for and getting them all under control and was .07 of my a1c of getting off the meds that I had just started back in December. I started symptoms on a Tuesday and on that Saturday I fought through the fevers without any meds all day and that night I took 5000mg of vitamin D and it helped. I am 4 days straight without a fever and headaches are going away. Am I thinking of the vaccine now? Sorta, if I do get it I can't get it till 3 months from now. I posted on another post that my wife got it from me as well and she is doing better.

You have natural immunity.

Name me one thing that's synthetic that actually better than natural?

That high blood pressure you speak of, is that all the time or just when watching Longhorn football?

after rereading through this thread ......one thing I don't understand, and I see it in co-workers with beliefs like y'alls, is the extreme anger, meanness, name calling and propensity to encourage violence within a group of citizens that are spurred on by an anonymous internet guru (Q) and a former president with a slogan called 'the big lie'....I don't get it, and never will.

Its a human condition Dan. So is cognitive bias Dan.

This! Herd immunity! It's actually a good thing to have gotten Covid and build up your own natural immunity. I'm NOT taking the shot they're so desperately pushing on everyone.
Herd immunity is highly unlikely without at least 70% of our population being vaccinated. Natural immunity so far has shown to last anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months in the unvaccinated. Over time we have eradicated many diseases with vaccinations. I don't get why all of a sudden people are so against this idea. But then again i've never been a conspiracy theorists and I don't believe everything has to be so political.

And for the record i'm as conservative as they come. I have never voted Democrat in my life.

Because it’s never going away. It’s never going to be eradicated, just like the flu. We will live with Covid alongside the flu forever. Do you get the flu shot every year? Are you being forced to get it? Do you hear anyone saying if we all just get the flu shot we will eradicate the flu forever? Nope. Most aren’t against vaccinations, they’re against being forced a vaccination.

You got that right! Any doubters can just wait and watch for the resurgence that will absolutely occur prior to the midterm elections and the 2024 presidential election.

This isn't the flu though is what people fail to understand. Let me know the last time the flu killed over a half a million people in a year in this country. You can't argue with idiots though who think everything is a conspiracy because they watched to much OAN or Fox News.

Well with natural immunity coming from folks like myself and my wife who have already had Covid flu along with folks who have been vaccinated we are up around 80% immunity. Now I guarantee my natural immunity is a lot more effective than the vaccinated immunity and will serve me better against these so called variants.

Also you are predicting worse case scenarios here. Just because some contracts this super flu doesn’t mean they die, or are hospitalized, most have few to no symptoms. You can believe Fauci all you want, he’s only moved the goalposts a handful of times on this mess. Which vaccine shots did you get as a kid that you had to keep getting boosters for a couple times a year?

if there was a vaccine approved that totally wiped Covid off the map, that’d be a different story, we’re nowhere near that and I’m not really interested in being a Guinea pig

Again you are going with the mortality rates that are commingling deaths. Find the number of folks who are totally healthy like yourself that contracted this Covid flu and died from it. You are using numbers that include 99 year olds plagued with COPD for the last 20 years and are on their death bed but by god at the last minute contracted Covid. Btw Covid is an awful lot like pneumonia that usually kills off the old, weak, compromised everyday and has for years.
Before Covid 7700 people die in the US everyday of every ailment known to mankind. Think about that. How many people are dying of true Covid everyday? Very dang few

Ok ok, I get it. You’re a numbers guy. But you’re concentrating on the wrong number. The number you should be concerned with is the mortality rate of 1.7%. Everyone knows that is a high number to begin with. So, again, you do you by taking the vaccine. Let this idiot rely on the 98.3% chance that I’ll be ok.

I just lost a good friend that was pregnant with a 14 week old baby. She was perfectly healthy and came down with covid pneumonia and recovered fine. She developed a TTP which is a blood clotting disorder that was caused from covid. Sure most people healthy people recover just fine, but imagine if you or one of your loved ones was that 1.7%. I have developed a whole new outlook on this whole thing after I almost lost my mother in law back in March and now lost a really good friend along with a 14 week old baby that never got to see the light of day.

If it means taking a vaccine to protect my loved ones then sign me up.

This is nonsense. The vaccine is gene therapy and highly toxic to many people who cannot break down the lipids in which the spike protein is encapsulated. It has caused over 10,000 deaths already.

The vaccine killed my neighbor. Apparently, you have not been around for the accounts of friends and family on this board who are suffering from the gene therapy.

Blood clotting comes from the gene therapy as well as renal failure and myocarditis.

Hate to break it to you but that's now how herd immunity works. Unless you contracted the delta variant originally then you are

To each their own I just don’t like it being forced on people

Well I pray you don't lose someone close to you. And if you do then maybe you will open your eyes and realize what we are dealing with here isn't the flu like you proclaim it to be.

So you are for it being forced on folks? As I asked you previously, what vaccines did you get as a kid that you have to keep getting a couple times a year? It’s pretty obvious they are not confident whatsoever in the Covid vaccine and I’m not interested in being a part of the trial and error phase. And btw as I’ve stated on here my mom died at 32 from a bad strain of pneumonia. She was pregnant and the baby died as well, so I’ve experienced death from the same type of issue.

No I am not at all for it being forced on people. They are confident enough that the FDA approved the Pfizer vaccine the other day. I absolutely believe it should be a choice. Like I stated above whenever I saw what it did to my mother in law and it changed my mind on getting the vaccine. Now losing a close friend and her unborn child has really hit me pretty hard. I just want people to stop comparing it to the flu cause that's just foolish..

I honestly just don't understand why all of a sudden people are against vaccines.

This vaccine is not a normal vaccine. It is an mRNA therapy. The old vaccines were weakened or dead viruses injected into the body. There are no known vaccines for corona viruses. The pharma companies are getting paid for each vaccine that is administered. Go look at who owns the pharma companies..... The same people are responsible for the opioid epidemic. They don't care about you. If their therapy kills you, they don't care. It's money in their pocket. Pfizer, Moderna, Purdue pharma are all the same.
