Every week during the season, the Orangebloods staff will release an updated SEC Power Rankings that reveals the state of the conference in our eyes. All teams are ranked 1-16, with the first-place team receiving 16 points and the last place team receiving 1 point.

Let's take a look at how things look going into week 11.

1. Texas (6) 96 points (Last week: 1st)

Highest ranking: 1st (Unanimous) Lowest ranking: 1st (Unanimous)

It's kind of crazy to think about how many weeks the Longhorns have spent in the No.1 slot this season. This isn't the way year one was expected to go 18 months ago. Crazy.

2. Alabama - 87 points (Last week: 3rd)

Highest ranking: 2nd (Unanimous) Lowest ranking: 2nd (Unanimous)

This is probably the right spot for the Tide, but I gave 20 seconds of pause to consider Ole Miss in this spot.

3. Ole Miss - 82 points (Last week: 4th)

Highest ranking: 3rd (Jason/Geoff/Travis/Anwar) Lowest ranking: 4th (Cody/Alex)

Kind of fascinating that Cody and Alex both have UGA over an Ole Miss team that kicked their ass just 12 days ago.

4. Georgia - 80 points (Last week: 5th)

Highest ranking: 3rd (Cody/Alex) Lowest ranking: 4th (Jason/Geoff/Travis/Anwar)

The Dawgs have one foot into the playoffs, but will they have to go on the road in the first round?

5. Tennessee - 69 points (Last week: 2nd)

Highest ranking: 5th (Jason/Travis/Alex) Lowest ranking: 6th (Geoff/Cody/Anwar)

From 2nd place to just one point ahead of a three-loss team...

6. South Carolina 68 points (Last week 6th)

Highest ranking: 5th (Geoff/Cody/Anwar) Lowest ranking: 7th (Alex)

Yes, I think the Cocks would beat the Vols on a neutral field.

7. Texas A&M - 61 points (Last week: 7th)

Highest ranking: 6th (Alex) Lowest ranking: 7th (Everyone but Alex)

Auburn is 100-percent going to put a scare into the Aggies this weekend.

8. LSU - 46 points (Last week: 8th)

Highest ranking: 8th (Alex) Lowest ranking: 10th (Geoff/Cody/Anwar)

The Tigers lost to Florida and did not drop in this week's rankings... hmmmmmm...

9. Florida 44 points (Last week: 12th)

Highest ranking: 8th (Jason) Lowest ranking: 12th (Travis)

I'll be honest when I tell you I don't really know what to think of Florida. Last week was probably more about LSU than the Gators.

10. Vanderbilt 42 points (Last week: 10th)

Highest ranking: 8th (Cody/Travis) Lowest ranking: 12th (Geoff/Anwar)

After all of the conversation, Anwar and I both have Vandy down in the No.12 spot. 🤷‍♂️

11. Missouri 40 points (Last week: 10th)

Highest ranking: 8th (Geoff) Lowest ranking: 12th (Jason)

I've talked myself into the Tigers looked as good last week in a loss to the Cocks as they have at any point this season... whatever that means.

12. Arkansas - 37 points (Last week: T11th)

Highest ranking: 8th (Anwar) Lowest ranking: 13th (Cody)

This is probably about right...

13. Auburn 20 points (Last week: 14th)

Highest ranking: 13th (Anwar/Alex) Lowest ranking: 14th (Jason/Geoff/Cody/Travis)

Tigers move above the Hawgs after this weekend?

14. Oklahoma 19 points (Last week: 14th)

Highest ranking: 13th (Jason/Travis) Lowest ranking: 15th (Cody)

Is Michael Fasusi paying attention?

15. Kentucky 16 points (Last week: 15th)

Highest ranking: 12th (Cody) Lowest ranking: 15th (Jason/Geoff/Travis/Alex)

This defense isn't as good as I think we've probably hyped it up to being.

16. Miss State 6 points (Last week: No.16)

Highest ranking: 16th (Unanimous) Lowest ranking: 16th (Unanimous)
