Our mid major guards didn’t really give him a chance while they were busy shooting 30% from the field. Also Beard is smarter than a dumbass and let our two slaps lose the game for us and took Jones away.
They have been fun to watch and much improved but they are not a top 4 team. Tech was not that good.
Man, Ramey really shit the bed in the last minute or so of that game. Ouch. Inbounds pass, steal, bucket and gave up the 3 to their shooter.
Learn from it. One lesson is to call a timeout when you are surprised by a press up late in the game. Also, maybe need a bigger dude to inbounds the ball than Ramey.
Texas played great 1st half, sucked 2nd half. Wonder how you can judge a good coach...

Seriously, there is pretty much nothing you can come here and say about this team that is going to stick. “We can’t shoot” or “Beard better than Shaka” whatever. Two really good teams no one wants to see in March.

Played too much bad basketball down the stretch. Rebound and move forward. Gonna drop a few in this league
Can’t be a championship team without a championship coach. But we’ll still have a good year so I’ll enjoy it.

Every time I begin to start believing in this team, Shaka has a game like this..
Ramey threw a chair following the loss and had to be calmed down. Can hear the Texas Tech locker room LOUDLY celebrating the win with extremely loud music pumping through the arena.

because Tech is really good and there isn't a single fan in the arena?
If this game helps Shaka rethink Ramey's end of game role (as in not being in the game come clutch time), then this loss was worth it.
Great learning experience , wish Ramey called a timeout instead of just giving ball away.
