McClung drains it in Ramey’s face. Ramey & Coleman...woof tonight. Damn, what a give away by Ramey up 2 and the ball...damn, terrible pass. Beard’s pressure defense created 19 points off turnover.
They really didn’t run an offense in the 2nd half. Was pretty bad.
I don’t know. Tech is not bad either. That’s a well coached team and two of their losses are to ranked teams. This was always going to be a tough game.

I don't even blame this game on Shaka. Shaka didn't hand the ball to Tech for a layup in the last minute of the game. Shaka didn't go 4-12 from the line. Tech is a good team after all.

Second half was full of shitty play, shitty shooting and ignorant choices. Looked like choke city! We got way too loose with plays. This might be a good loss to wake these guys up. Texas could have won the game by 15 points or more with smart playing in the second half. Play loose but under control.
Driving the lane late and stepping out of bounds didn’t help either. Besides a big three, it was a forgettable second half for him.
Meh...looked like Shaka ball down the stretch. Terrible execution, poor free throws, poor guard play and turnovers. What a gift...damn Beard’s teams play with grit. We looked rattled and confused in crunch time.

There are guys on this board that still think Coleman and Ramey are high major guards, and better than Jones. Beard coaches circles around Shaka and some people actually think Shaka is a good coach. The first half was due to Jones scoring and Tech not being able to throw it in the ocean. Second half is a true indication of what this team really is. Unfortunate for the players but is what it is.
Reality is we live and die with Coleman/Ramey. I’ve never seen 2 players that can be so outstanding one minute, and then down right terrible the next - UNFORCED. That hasn’t changed over their UT careers, and will continue until the end I’m afraid.
Ramey is not a very good finisher around basket with contact I have noticed

They have been doing this their entire time at Texas. Both are terrible and not good enough for Texas to be ranked 4th. We are a top 20 team because we have superior athletes that have played together for 17 years.
