Roach with 10 points on 3-3 FG shooting and 4-6 FTs. Ibeh next with 7 points and, stunningly, zero fouls. Felix can't buy a bucket. Taylor fairly quiet so far.

A rather whistle-happy crew so far, with 27 fouls called in the first half (14 on Texas, 13 on TCU). But, again, somehow Ibeh has zero fouls.

Unbelievable how Cam and Ibeh have thrived with the new staff. Coach Horn has really had an impact on the big guys. It's not talked about much, but that was a pure genius hire by Shaka.

Yeah, it's one ugly damn game.

Ibeh is having a career game, despite the hair-trigger officiating. With his last board, he just recorded a double-double (currently at 17 points on 6-11 shooting, 5-6 from the line, 10 boards, and 5 blocks). And only two fouls! I know it's TCU, but this is not your usual Ibeh. He's really growing lately.

Isaiah has had a bad night shooting, but he has racked up 7 assists against only 1 turnover, and he also has pulled down 5 boards.

Roach has had a great night with 20 points on 6-9 FG shooting and 8-11 from the line (which is much better than his .550 FT percentage entering the game), 5 boards, 3 steals, and 3 assists.

It's amazing really how much every player Shaka inherited is better under him than they have been. Seems like we come in to every game with a solid game plan as well.

I promise you teams that are in line for 1-3 seeds in the NCAA doesn't want to see us with a 6-10 seed.

So true. I actually remember people bagging on that hire as a ho-hum move. What their grounds were for that view, I have no idea.

Most likely they looked at his HC recored and went "but he got fired" failing to realize most guys get HC shots because they are great assistants.

Yep. Watching Barnes' teams, you'd have thought it was against the rules to do much in the way of personnel and strategy adjustments from opponent to opponent. So refreshing.

Yeah we better enjoy coach Horn while we can. He'll probably be a head coach again soon. Hopefully he's having so much fun he says, "screw that, I'm happy where I'm at." Perfect name to be at Texas, and his mother's maiden name is Long. He's meant to be here.
