A local Austin news broadcast told the story of cops all over the state commemorating the horrific shooting in Dallas of 14 cops, killing 5, by saying, "the shootings took place during an otherwise peaceful protest". Ummm....what? An "otherwise" peaceful protest? Why add that? Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln were enjoying an otherwise peaceful performance...
