This is an interesting video. If the data/facts identified are correct it clearly points to a flawed system that puts the health of women at risk and the combat viability of the units in question. I have never been a supporter of women having the option of picking combat arms and men do not. I do not support lowering the standards and do no think making combat service optional for the small number of women that can qualify offsets the negative impact to the unit.
I am sure there will be folks that disagree but the Israeli experience speaks volumes. This in no way is a suggestion that women cannot excel in service to our country or to ignore the fact many have fought bravely. Most women in "technology enabled" jobs like pilots do very well.
