UK Fan looking forward to the game this weekend and having the whole Texas football experience. Staying in the Omni Hotel Downtown at 8th Street. When I booked the room, the staff told me it's a mile from the stadium. Is that fairly accurate? Is it a safe walk or should I plan on a Uber? Any recommendations on restaurants, places to visit is appreciated. Definitely want to walk around the campus. Thanks
